Paravel Hat

A sweet little hat worked in fingering weight yarn. Pattern includes both a beanie and slouch version.

Skill Level intermediate (working in the round, shaping, basic lace)

Beanie 50g/180 yds SweetGeorgia Yarns CashLuxe Fine 70% merino 20% cashmere 10% nylon, 115 g/400 yds per skein
Slouch 60g/260 yds Quince & Co Finch 100% wool, 50 g/221 yds per skein

Finished Measurements Adult size M, circumference 19 1/2 inches

Tension/gauge
28 sts = 4 inches in stockinette stitch
Approximately 32 rows = 4 inches, but can vary slightly depending on your choice of yarn

Needles US 2/3.0 mm 16 inch circulars*, and one set dpn’s (or your preferred method)

Other Supplies 5 stitch markers, blunt yarn needle

* Working on short circular needles is not for everyone. If the stitches feel tight, I work in the round with two circulars. You can also use magic loop or dpn’s.
