Henning Cowl - Intense Red or Violet?

Bright and bold. That's what the Henning Cowl needs. Or maybe I've been playing Photoshop too long.
The problem is, the more I play with Photoshop, the more I want to play with Photoshop.
So here's the poor Henning Cowl, re-colored again. This time I went with a brighter palette: vibrant reds and intense violets.
Is the red too much? Post your favorite below or let me know if you'd like to see another palette instead.

| The Intense red attracted me to the pattern. I bought the magazine right away for this pattern. However, I am looking through my stash and I found some purple hues which may work. We'll see! | |

| I agree about the colors - I thought the pattern as shown in the magazine was interesting, but the color didn't pull me in (and I'm a green person!) Your versions (especially the burgundy and red) really make me want to knit it. And now I will think about buying the magazine just for that one pattern.... | |

| Both colours are amazing! The vibrant colours make me want to knit this cowl. when I first saw the design, I was interested, but not captured. The red and purple have reeled me in! | |
