Corrected chart for Pender Vest
Posted by Megan Goodacre on Jun 19, 2012

Slight delay in knitting schedules due to DH falling off bike and breaking collar bone. I would like to see a diagram based on gender, fractures, and "falling off things". In our tiny little emergency room, there were two broken collar bones and one broken arm. All male. All from falling off something.
A quick little post today. Just noticed that the chart for the Pender Vest, in Creative Knitting July 2012, has an error. The yo's are missing on Rows 9 and 11. Here's a corrected chart.
The Galiano Vest pattern will be available very very soon! I know I keep saying "soon". But I really mean it this time. (Princess Bride anyone? That word you keep using. I do not think it means what you think it means).
We'd love to hear from you. Add a comment

Hi! Don't Fall is excellent advice. DH is recovering nicely. He is now cutting his own meat and driving again. I'm looking forward to seeing your Pender vest, can you email me the point in the pattern that's giving you trouble? info@tricksyknitter.com. Thanks!

So sorry to hear about your fall. Whenever I go to my doctor his most important instructions are, DON\"T FALL!! (I am 76) Like one really gets up in the morning and decides to fall that particular day. Whatever. I am almost finished the vest but can\'t seem to get it together. I have looked at the pictures and gotten some help from my local knit shop but it still doesn\'t seem right. On the right front I began to join on the wrong side - the directions call for the opposite on the left front section. Won\'t they be different seamwise? Do I still begin at the shoulder end and work in towards center back? By the way I knit this in Zauberball Starke 6 and it is really striking. Knitbead
